Whether staying at Château de Fayolle on business or pleasure, the château offers spaceous accommodation and a high level of comfort for 10 or more guests. The château's large reception rooms and kitchen all open onto the surrounding garden, while the first floor bedrooms are arranged around a large central landing, so that no-one feels cut off from the rest. At the same time however, there is plenty of room for guests to spread out and do their own thing. There are also a wide range of facilities on site and additional services (including catering options) on offer to ensure that you get the very most from your stay.

Enter the château from the park down a few stone steps into...

  • the entrance hall - with imposing stone fireplace and woodburner, follow the corridor to...
  • an original stained glass door to the back terrace, where you can watch the sun set over the valley
  • relax into the deep, soft sofas of the elegant and spacious grand salon with satellite TV and DVD, or...
  • walk through the archway to the petit salon with an array of books and games on offer to while away the hours.
    With both rooms benefiting from doors leading directly to the park you will never be far from the pool activities just opposite.
  • On a winter's evening or special occasion there's no better place for dinner than in the medieval dining room.
    With seating for 10 at a long oak dining table, and the original open fireplace to keep you warm.
  • If you are master of the house then you can make your way straight from dinner up the winding stone staircase of the ancient tower to the main bedroom.
  • In the morning, head down to the large, fully equipped and modern, family kitchen/breakfast room for breakfast
    either at the large farmhouse table or ...
  • step out into the morning sun and enjoy coffee and croissants under the pergola.

  • Make you way to the first floor via the central, oak staircase.
  • Before retiring why not have a quick game of snooker at the 10 ft table on the palier
  • When it's time for bed, one of 5 en-suite bedrooms await you, each individually furnished and each boasting
    uninterupted views across the surrounding vineyard, countryside or garden.
  • There are three double rooms, 2 of which have a four-poster bed,
    • Moulin (3)- large bedroom with king-size four-poster bed and en-suite bathroom, view over valley to windmill ruin
    • Chapelle Suite (4) - master bedroom with super king-size four-poster bed and en-suite bathroom, view over chapel
    • Parc (5) - large bedroom with king-size bed and en-suite bathroom, view over park

and 2 twin bedrooms, that can also be made up as doubles:

  • Vallée (1) - twin room with en-suite shower room, view over valley and vineyards
  • Vignes (2)- twin room with en-suite shower room , view over valley and vineyards

Apartment - Optional

Located on the ground floor and accessed via the main corridor, this two roomed apartment with adjoining bathroom is ideal for families, elderly guests or event organisers, who can use it as a bedroom and office. The apartment offers additional accommodation for a further 4 guests and can be made available at a small additional weekly charge.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE MAXIMUM OVERNIGHT OCCUPANCY AT THE CHATEAU IS 15 GUESTS, PLUS BABIES
